Wiring

  • * 1Do not wire when the power is on. If it is short-circuited, the built-in microcomputer will be damaged.
  • * 2If the black wire (output wire) touches the power supply or the circuit is shorted, the built-in output transistor will be burned, causing malfunction.
  • * 3Do not apply pulling force to the power cord. Doing so may result in breakage.

  • Brown wire: Connect the wire to the positive (+) side of the DC power supply to operate the switch.
  • Black wire: Since it is the output of the switch, connect it to the input terminal of the PLC or a load such as a DC relay.
  • Blue wire: Connect the wire to the negative (-) side of the DC power supply to operate the switch.

Mounting/Piping

  • * 1The mounting direction can be horizontal or vertical.
  • * 2The main body must be kept holding when handling the product.
  • * 3Dropping or hitting should be avoided. If an excessive impact is applied, the inside of the switch will be damaged.
  • * 4When mounting on a pipe, apply a wrench to the width across flats for R thread types and the square part on the bottom of the body for M5 types and turn the wrench. If stress is applied to the upper part of the body or resin case, internal parts will be stressed and damaged.
  • * 5Touching the LCD display should be avoided. Touching the LCD display during operation may cause malfunction or damage to internal parts due to the influence of static electricity.

  • * 1How to set the pressure switch: While pressing the push button (1) SET, turn the pressure setting trimmer (3) P.SET to display the set pressure on the pressure display plate (4) LCD. (The set pressure is high for clockwise rotation and low for counterclockwise rotation.) After setting the pressure, press the push button (1) SET to display the line side pressure on the pressure display plate (4) LCD.
  • * 2Alarm display: The ↓ on the LCD flashes within +10% of the pressure setting value of the pressure switch to inform that the set pressure is approaching. When the line pressure falls below the set pressure, (2) the ALM LED (red) lights up and the switch turns on.
  • * 3It can be used within the maximum operating pressure range. If a pressure higher than the maximum operating pressure is applied, the LCD display will show "“OF" and the product cannot be used. In that case, reset the pressure and power supply once.

Operating environment

  • * 1It cannot be used in a place where water or oil is scattered. Since it is an open type structure, if water or oil gets inside, the electric circuit will corrode, resulting in malfunction or damage.
  • * 2It may be affected by induction noise from piping or noise from power line or high voltage line. As it may cause malfunction or damage to the switch, take measures such as grounding the pipe for inductive noise from the pipe or keeping it away from noise on power lines and high-voltage lines.
  • * 3Operating fluids are dedicated for air and inert gas. Fluids cannot be used.
  • * 4It must not be used in an atmosphere of flammable liquid or flammable gas. Since it is not explosion proof, it may cause an explosion hazard.
