After applying clamp, once the stopper is pulled, teeth will automatically clamp down on the concrete using a lock spring, maintaining a hanging position, which allows for 1 person to do slinging work on their own. When releasing, once the upper hinge plate is pushed from above, the clamp arm will automatically lock into the "open" position.
