Plastering Supplies

Plastering tools are used for plastering walls. They can be used with any type of material, including stucco, plaster and mortar. Tubs for mixing mortar and other materials, mortar pans for greater workability and other such tools are mostly made of polypropylene or other type of resin that provides excellent shock resistance. Resin is lighter and more durable than metals, and it does not rust. One of the most important plastering tools is a trowel, which is used to apply mortar or other material to walls and spread it evenly. Various types of trowels are available to suit different applications, such as application trowels, flooring trowels and finishing trowels. Most trowels are made of hardened steel or stainless steel. Stainless steel types are easier to maintain. When applying mortar or plaster to tiles, blocks or other material that is susceptible to damage, it is a good idea to put a rubber cover on the trowel. There are also products like bamboo whisks for achieving a uniform and high-quality finish.
