Oil seals are parts that prevent oil leaks from the ends of rotary shafts in automotive engines or motors. Oil seals prevent lubricating oil, water or liquid chemicals used in machinery from leaking through machinery gaps. They also function to prevent the entry of outside dust or dirt.
