Inverting, Self-Rotating Chuck

Performing inversion and rotation during laser engraving of bar-shaped workpieces.
Robot transports bar-shaped workpieces to pickup/discharge locations.
After gripping the bar-shaped workpiece with a 3-hook air chuck, the chuck part inverts 90°, the guide-attached rodless cylinder advances, and the workpiece moves to the engraving position.
When performing engraving with a laser marker, the workpiece is rotated using a stepping motor and timing belt to change lines.
As the guide-mounted rodless cylinder retracts, the chuck inverts 90° and the bar-shaped workpiece is transported to the pickup/discharge position, where it is then discharged by the robot.
For safety, a cover is installed on the timing belt.
